Air Filter Design, April 19

Course Today: Air Filtration

Today, April 12 marks another informative course successfully delivered from the Waterloo Filtration Institute by addressing Air Filtration and its associated new requirements and guidelines for clean and healthy environments. This course provided an overall understanding of air filtration principles, technologies, various applications, new developments, and trends. It connects to more complex levels of filtration courses offered throughout our continued curriculum of the Certified Filtration and Separation Specialist program. We appreciated our participants for their great attendance and interactive Q&As. Dr. Christine Sun, President of Waterloo Filtration Institute, and Kathleen Owen, ASHRAE Fellow presented the course.

If you were unable to attend the course, it is available now through our online portal Air Filtration, where you can register and view this timely updated course.

Next Course: Air Filter Design

Tuesday, April 19, 8-10 am EDT, will feature another important course: Air Filter Design, required for air filtration engineering and new filter development. It is an advanced course in air filtration to discuss air filter design principles and processes, including key product characteristics, customer requirements, filter media and configuration selection, prototype and lab testing, field test, and validation for various applications, such as HVAC, transportation, industrial dust removal, gas turbines, paint spray booths, clean rooms, hot gas filtration, air purification, personal protection, etc. The new product designs, evaluation standards, and trends for future development will also be discussed.

Dr. Christine Sun will be the key speaker instructing the course, with Chris Muller (ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer), Jim Rosenthal (CEO of TexAir Filters), and Dr. R. Vijayakumar (Founder of AERFIL) as our distinguished panelists. Do not miss out on this excellent opportunity to join the leading experts live online to learn how to design air filters for your advanced clean air solutions.
